Based in Dubai, Jérôme Droesch is the Chief Executive Officer of the Domestic Health and Health Services for Cigna International Markets.
He is also the Board Member for Cigna’s operations in India, Turkey and Australia, and Chairman of Cigna Insurance Management Services Board in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
He is responsible for advancing Cigna’s Domestic Health portfolio and Health Services propositions, as the premier provider of both health and wellness insurance services to individuals, groups and government entities, for all of Cigna’s International Markets business (all businesses outside the United States).
In addition, Jerome spearheads the growth of the Health Services’ business across Cigna’s international markets, where he is tasked with revolutionizing healthcare and the implementation of high-level strategies for ensuring the long-term profitable growth of the organization.
Jerome is passionate about making quality healthcare accessible to a wider section of the population. To champion this vision, Jerome also leads Cigna’s International Market’s Strategy, Innovation, and the Data & Analytics functions.
Under his leadership, Cigna’s Middle East business has strengthened its position as an industry leader, expanded its footprint across the region, introduced new products and services to cater to a wider market segment, while consistently maintaining a double-digit growth.
Jerome is also a Board Member on the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry Advisory Council, tasked with playing a role in furthering HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision and driving the economic development of the Emirate of Dubai.
Prior to joining Cigna, Jérôme was with AXA Group in an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, where he held various management positions across multiple geographies and business.
Jérôme has a Masters in Engineering from Ecole Centrale, a Masters in Wealth Management from the SKEMA Business School, and has completed his further management studies from INSEAD.
He is fluent in French and English.
